Pastor Rod teaches about true humility and repentance. Our Lord Jesus teaches us in scripture on how to be humble. John 13:1-5 Biblical humility frees us. Let us learn from Jesus. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. John 14:6 Repentance is the best way to humility. If we need help on how to repent, we can always come to Jesus and pray. Pray the beatitudes. Matthew 5.

Pastor Rod teaches in the 5th chapter of 2 Kings where we see the development of a man named Naaman that was viewed as a good man and a man who feared God. But the pride of Naaman is what held him back from being healed from his leprosy. As believers we must not let our pride get in the way of humbling ourselves before God. Godliness with contentment is gain.

(Our apologies, roughly the first minute of audio and video did not record.) Paul arrives in Rome and is greeted by other believers that reside there in Rome. He is also confronted by Jews also there in Rome, some are persuaded and receptive to the message of the gospel but some are not so receptive. Paul's message despite his many trials that he faced, taught us that Jesus is all that we need and to hear his voice in the midst of the storms that we are in.

Pastor Rod teaches in Acts chapter 28 about how God uses our trails for His Glory. Paul was bitten by the snake but God already had promised he would go to Rome. We want to remember to do the right things in God's Eyes. As Christians we must live out our Christian responsibilities. Let us always seek God's approval, not the worlds. Let us seek His Kingdom first.

The Jews were the first people to hear the Gospel, but what happened was the Gentiles began to get saved (part of God's plan). Paul was excited about this, but [ethnic] Jewish Christians who didn't yet understand what God was doing wanted to pull the new converts into Judaism. All this ultimately led to Paul now heading to Rome and we get to learn from Paul's strength in this literal and spiritual storm!

Pastor Rod teaches in 2 Kings Chapter 4 and in this chapter we see the miracles that Elisha performs. In this story we learn about the characteristics of generosity. We will see that the people listening to Paul are interested in his message about his prior convictions, his conversion, and his conclusions. It's at the point in time where the listeners' mortality meets eternity. They were ALMOST persuaded.

Pastor Rod teaches in this story of 2 Kings chapter 3 where we see the king of Israel, Judah and Edom find themselves in a wilderness area. When Elisha came he told them to use a little bit of energy that was within them to dig ditches that God would fill with water. What do you do in dry times in your life? Dig the ditches and God will fill them.

Pastor Rod teaches in 2 Kings chapter 2 where we see that God is taking up Elijah which allows his servant Elisha taking Elijah's place as the next top prophet of God. The lesson we see in the life of Elisha is if you want to be used greatly by the Lord, you must first be a servant, and continue being a servant.
