Pastor Rod teaches in 1 Kings 8, where we see the dedication of the temple in Jerusalem. After Solomon prays to the Lord, giving Him praise for His faithfulness to His Word, he also prays for the people of Israel. When Solomon has finished dedicating the temple, the people go to their tents full of joy and a glad heart. Worship leads to joy. Let us be filled with joy as we come before the Lord's presence and worship Him.

Pastor Rod taught that like believers in the the early church, we carry a lot of baggage into a relationship with God. But, as the early church leaders explained, when we have a right relationship with God, the rest follows.

Special guest Kenneth Dujay speaks today about 2 Kings 4, the widow's oil. Praise God through our testimonies we are able to see God's Love, Faithfulness and Power. Let us always remember God does so much more than we can imagine. God wants each and every one of us to have a personal relationship with Him, believe and trust in Jesus. Whatever we can do, give to the Lord and miracles comes from obedience. Glory to God the Most Highest.

Pastor Rod discussed how Paul and Barnabas finished up their first missionary journey by doubling back to each church they had visited. Why double back when they could have taken a shortcut to get home? Because they wanted to "strengthen the souls of the disciples" (not just make converts) through (1) Teaching, (2) Encouraging, (3) Modeling, and (4) Exhorting.

Pastor Rod teaches in 1 Kings 6, where Solomon builds the temple. We see many applications in this story, as the stones were finished at the quarry, no hammer or chisel was heard on the temple mount. 1 Peter 2:4-5 says we are living stones, and we are currently in the quarry in this world, being shaped, chiseled, finished so that we get to our destination, we will be complete. Also, let us work on the foundation and our inner self. Because, like the stones and materials of the temple, those things that are impressive outwardly are often formed in private.

Pastor Rod teaches about Paul and Barnabas in Lystra. God healed a man through Paul. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed and called out, "Stand up on your feet!" At that, the man jumped up and began to walk (Acts 14:9-10). We are miracles. And our whole life will show whether we believe what GOD said and what He did and will do. Faith is important, faith grows from healing, and faith grows from doing by confirming your beliefs. Surrender your life to Christ. God will never forget your name. God loves you and wants to show His Love through you.

Pastor Rod teaches in 1 Kings 4 & 5. In chapter 4 we see the wisdom and wealth of Solomon grow as people from all over the world come to hear him speak. In chapter 5 we see the preparations of the building of the temple begin. The temple was a place where God's presence dwelt, where people would go to worship the Lord. The bible says that we are the temple of the Lord. Do we live our life's walking in the Spirit and filled with the Spirit? Do our life's glorify God? Let us be temples that are well built.

Pastor Rod Carver goes over Calvary Coastland's philosophy of what it means to be surrendered to our Lord. "Love God, Each other, and the Lost." Pastor Rod teaches us through the Scriptures how to love God first so that we may love one another as the body, and then to be witnesses to the lost.
