After Jesus had risen from the dead, He told His disciples to be patient and wait on the promised Holy Spirit in order to be witnesses for Him. The Holy Spirit enables all of us as believers to be witnesses in and out of season for the glory of God. We as believers should desire to be used and surrendered to everything that God wants to give us.

Pastor Rod teaches in Revelation 12 about the woman and the dragon. The illustration is referred back to the scriptures, like how woman are represented and satan's fall. The woman, child and dragon are loaded with symbolism, which gives a panoramic view of God, Our Creator. He always wins in the end. And even though we are weak, He is strong, righteous and eternal.

From Revelation 11:14-19, Pastor Rod explains that the second woe is past and the third woe begins. Even though this moment in time is in the middle of the Tribulation period, God is worshiped in Heaven and declared victorious! The more you know God, the more you'll worship Him. We must learn to offer up a "Sacrifice of Praise" even when we don't understand how things are to workout.

Pastor Rod teaches in Ezra 2 and 3. In these chapters we see the people of Israel returning to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple. As the people lay the foundation for the new temple, we read that there was a mixture of joy and weeping. Those weeping were weeping because they were old enough to see the old temple. We can begin to look back to the "good 'ol days" and miss what the Lord is doing today. Any day we are walking with the Lord and being used by the Lord is a good day.

Pastor Rod teaches in Ezra 1. In this chapter we see the Lord stirring the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to allow the people of Israel to return home and build a new temple. We also see the Lord stir the hearts of the people to go and build the temple. The Lord blesses His people with gifts that He wants to use through us, but sometimes we neglect them. We must allow the Lord to stir us up as we allow Him to work in and through us.

Pastor Rod teaches in 2 Kings 25. In this chapter we see the destruction of Jerusalem and the people of Judah taken captive. In this we see that they have rejected the Lord and walked away from Him, and these were the results. The Lord wants to bless our lives, He wants to use us for good. We can fight against it or surrender and obey. Walk with the Lord and allow Him to make something beautiful out of your life.
