1 Timothy is attributed to the Apostle Paul and is a pastoral epistle where Paul advises Timothy on church leadership, sound doctrine, and godly living. It emphasizes the importance of prayer, qualifications for church leaders, and roles for women. Paul warns against false teachings and encourages Timothy to be an example in faith, love, and purity, maintaining the integrity of the gospel.
