Pastor Rod Carver teaches from Genesis 25 about the perseverance of Abraham and of Isaac and this gives us encouragement to continually pray. God chooses, He knows and does everything perfectly, so we pray to humbly ask God for wisdom in all things. We pray to trust God more in the waiting and that we won't run to the temporary pleasures of the world.
