In this message from Matthew 24:1-8, Pastor Rod Carver explains from what is commonly called the "Olivet Discourse" how the Temple itself was admired and worshipped, but was actually meant to point people to God. Jesus was pointing the people there, and us, to proper worship.
Also, in these verses, Jesus was explaining the pre-cursors to the Tribulation period, AKA the Last Days. In the Last Days, deception will be on the rise, which as we see today is increasing. However, Jesus is always the answer. As it says in John 8:32, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
