In this message from Nehemiah 8, Pastor Rod explains how even though the rebuilt walls of Jerusalem were complete, it was not time to rest. Even though the physical work had been done, the spiritual work wasn't. As we know, walls protect us from the enemy outside, but often the battles are from within.
In the spiritual sense, you can put up all kinds of practical barriers to stop you from sinning, and that is good, but the issue is from within. Even with barriers, we can still figure out a way to sin. Fall in love with God and worship Him as a greater motivation to be strong.
