Pastor Rod teaches in 1 Kings 6, where Solomon builds the temple. We see many applications in this story, as the stones were finished at the quarry, no hammer or chisel was heard on the temple mount. 1 Peter 2:4-5 says we are living stones, and we are currently in the quarry in this world, being shaped, chiseled, finished so that we get to our destination, we will be complete.
Also, let us work on the foundation and our inner self. Because, like the stones and materials of the temple, those things that are impressive outwardly are often formed in private.
