Disciple Making on the Way Home

Pastor Rod discussed how Paul and Barnabas finished up their first missionary journey by doubling back to each church they had visited. Why double back when they could have taken a shortcut to get home? Because they wanted to "strengthen the souls of the disciples" (not just make converts) through (1) Teaching, (2) Encouraging, (3) Modeling, and (4) Exhorting.
