In this message, Pastor Rod teaches from Mark 16:12-15 and Luke 24:13-35. Here we see Jesus' appearing to the Disciples after Jesus' resurrection. The Disciples' were low on faith and their hearts had become hardened because what they had expected to happen (Jesus restoring Israel to greatness) did not. Like the disciples, we can fall into a lack of faith an hardness of heart when what we expected God to do does not happen.
So how do we soften our hearts and build our faith? Through the Word. When you get the Bible into your heart, you realize that God is someone you can count on. Every time we take a step of "faith" and do something that stretches us a little our faith grows.
